Concentration Camps
Concentration camps are where Jews were sent to work under horrible conditions such as not having enough food and brutal mistreatment, which caused millions of Jews to die. There were at least twenty-two main concentration camps spread around Germany and Europe and at least a thousand smaller camps. These camps where lead by Heinrich Himmler who was the leader of the SS (Schutzstaffel) (Jewish Virtual Library, 2015).
