Adolf Hitler’s Gain to Power in World War II and his Final Days
After World War I, Adolf Hitler gained his political power by becoming a part of the National Socialist German Workers Party and then later taking control of the German Government in 1933. Hitler became Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and of course served as a dictator form 1934 to 1945. On April 30th, 1945 Adolf Hitler and his new wife Eva Braun committed suicide in his Berlin Bunker in fear of being captured by Russians. It is believed that Eva had digested cyanide capsules and Hitler shot himself in the head with his pistol (History, 2014).
